This is the year (2020) my faith life will begin to shift. I will no longer settle for surface belief—I will begin to seek God with greater focus. Vision (my word of the year) is not just a word I choose for the year—it will become the lens through which I see everything.
When life grows uncertain, I can lean in. I can start to ask better questions. I can begin to write what I hear in prayer. I do not have to wait for clarity to come—I can pursue it through Scripture, journaling, and reflection. Thus, vision begins to speak through stillness. So, I can slow down to listen.
To help me on this journey:
-
I have Faith and Bible Journaling Prompts that can help me respond, not just record.
-
I have a Psalms Reading Plan to help ground my emotions and guide my prayers.
-
I will walk through a Vision Bible Reading Plan that strengthens my spiritual sight.
I have a two-month Thanksgiving Plan to cultivate daily gratitude and reflect on God’s faithfulness through every season.
I have Bible Verse Writing Sheets to help me slow my spirit down and let Scripture settle into my heart.
Each page becomes an altar. Each verse becomes a direction. Each prompt becomes a mirror.
I am not trying to master the vision—I am learning to steward it.
I am not chasing perfection—I am choosing obedience.
I do not need to see the whole picture—I trust what God is showing now.
So I stay committed:
-
I will write what God reveals.
-
I will align with what the Spirit whispers.
-
I will walk forward with vision, not fear.
This is how I will live out 2020—pen in hand, heart open, eyes on what is eternal. Vision is speaking. And I am listening.
