Why Colossians 2:7 Anchors This Space

This year, I am grounding myself in Colossians 2:7:

"Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness." (NLT)

This verse is more than just a line of Scripture—it is the blueprint for this entire space.

I am focusing on creating content that helps me and others…

🌱 Grow deep in Christ
🌿 Build a life centered on His truth
🪴 Strengthen our faith when things feel unstable
🌸 Live with gratitude, even when the days are hard

Lately, I have felt the need to not just survive but to be rooted. The kind of rooted that does not sway with every bad day, every worry, or every unanswered prayer. I want to be the kind of woman who flourishes because her foundation is in Jesus, not in productivity or performance.

This verse reminds me that strong faith is not loud faith—it is steady faith. Quiet mornings, prayer-filled journals, verses scribbled in the margins, and whispered thank-yous in the middle of tears. That is the kind of overflow I want.

So, I come here—again and again—to dig in, deepen, and grow.

Welcome to the rooted life.
