I
always seem to fully realize school is about to start when we are about 31 days out.
For some reason, that number settles it in my spirit—and that is when the
burden to pray gets loud and clear.
Back
in 2018, the Lord laid it on my heart to pray intentionally over every aspect
of the school year. Since then, I have committed to setting aside focused days
of intercession each summer. This year, we are covering 27 Days of
Prayer—one day for every step closer to the first day of class.
So, starting Tuesday, July 29, I will be posting:
- A daily Scripture
- A targeted Prayer Focus
- A simple Challenge to Go a Step Further
I
invite you to join me. Whether you are an educator, student, parent, support
staff member, or simply someone who believes in the power of prayer—I welcome
you to pray with me. Speak these blessings aloud, repost the prayers, or
quietly whisper them as you pass by schools. Your prayers matter.
This
time is personal, sacred, and powerful. It will be a blessing to me, and I pray
it is a blessing to you.
