A Prayer to Begin the Journey with
Strength and Surrender
God of endurance,
God of the quiet middle,
God of every slow miracle—
I come to You not because I feel
strong,
but because I trust that You are.
I lay down every weight I have carried
in silence.
Every battle I have fought alone.
Every place where my strength ran out but grace showed up.
Today, I receive the invitation to be resilient
on purpose.
Not driven by pressure—
but grounded in promise.
You are my anchor when I feel
unsteady.
You are my fire when I feel faint.
You are my confidence when I feel uncertain.
You are the strength behind every step forward.
Let this be the season I do not just
survive,
but grow deep, stretch wide, and walk steady.
I do not ask for ease—I ask for endurance.
I do not ask to skip the storms—I ask to see You in them.
Remind me daily that resilience is not
about getting it all right—
It is about returning to You when I feel wrong, worn, or weary.
Let Your Word hold me.
Let Your grace guide me.
Let Your presence rebuild me.
This time, I will not run on empty.
I will rise—with You.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
