Rooted in the Spirit
Key Thought: I reflect God’s character when I walk
in the Spirit.
In
Galatians, Paul contrasts the works of the flesh with the fruit of the
Spirit—evidence that God is transforming us from the inside out. This fruit is
not manufactured through effort; it grows naturally in a life yielded to the
Holy Spirit. As we remain connected to Christ and let the Spirit lead us, our
lives begin to overflow with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are not just traits—they are
a testimony that God lives in us.
