Whew—1 Corinthians was a lot. Reading it felt like listening in on a church meeting where everything was on the table. Paul had to deal with issues, call things out, and bring things back into order, and he did it with a mix of tough love and deep spiritual clarity. What I loved most is how much he emphasized unity. Division weakens the witness of the Church, and Paul wanted them to get that. He made it clear that spiritual maturity looks like love—real love. That “love chapter” still checks my heart every time I read it. He also reminded me that my body matters—it is God’s temple, and what I do with it reflects who I belong to. And I cannot forget the part about spiritual gifts. Paul taught me that the gifts are not for show, they are for service. The whole book reminded me that we are not just saved to sit—we are saved to grow, to love, and to live with the end in mind because resurrection is our hope.
