"Strength in
Surrender"
Key
Thought:
Finding power in weakness, comfort in affliction, and hope in Christ’s
sufficiency.
2
Corinthians reminded me that weakness is not a liability—it is an opening for
God’s power to show up. These affirmations hit deep. They spoke to the parts of
me that want to be strong all the time, that want to hold it together when life
is falling apart. But Paul made it clear: God gets the glory when I let go. I
am comforted so I can comfort others. I am transformed, even when it does not
feel like it yet. I carry treasure in a jar of clay—this fragile, everyday life
holds divine purpose. That encouraged me. These affirmations did not just speak
about overcoming—they spoke about endurance, about hope, about staying faithful
in the middle of pressure. I do not boast in my strength. I boast in grace. And
that shift in posture gave me peace. This book reminded me that I do not need
to pretend I have it all together. I just need to keep showing up, surrendered
and available.
