Five Things I Learned from the Book of 2 CORINTHIANS

2 Corinthians felt like Paul pulled back the curtain and showed us his heart. This letter was personal and raw. I could feel his weariness, but also his strength—and that tension spoke to me. The biggest thing that stood out was how God’s power shows up in weakness. That gave me so much comfort. I do not have to be strong all the time. In fact, God works best when I admit I am not. Paul also reminded me that what I go through is not just for me—it is so I can comfort others. That shifted how I see my own struggles. And when he said we walk by faith, not by sight? That hit different. Some days, nothing looks like it is working out, but faith says, “Trust anyway.” This book helped me see that transformation is a process, and giving generously, loving deeply, and letting the Spirit do His work in me is all part of the journey.
