Five Things I Learned from the Book of EPHESIANS

Ephesians reminded me just how intentional God is. From the first chapter, Paul spoke identity over the Church—and I needed that. I am chosen. I am loved. I am not an afterthought in the Kingdom. That truth gave me confidence. Then came the powerful reminder that salvation is a gift. I cannot earn it. I just have to receive it. That humbled me and took some pressure off. Paul also called me a masterpiece—God’s workmanship. That word made me pause. I am not a mess. I am His creation, made with purpose. Ephesians also showed me how deeply God cares about unity. One body. One faith. One baptism. That pushed me to check how I treat my fellow believers. And by the time I got to the armor of God, I realized how equipped I really am. God did not leave me defenseless. This letter taught me that identity, purpose, and spiritual strength are already mine—I just have to walk in them.
