Five Things I Learned from the Book of 2 TIMOTHY

2 Timothy felt like Paul’s final words—and it read like a legacy letter. There was weight in every sentence. Paul was tired, but not defeated. He was focused on finishing well, and that stirred something in me. He reminded Timothy—and me—to pass the faith on. This walk is not just about us; it is about who is coming next. That made me think about what I am leaving behind. Paul also pushed Timothy to stir up his gift. That hit home. Sometimes I sit on what God gave me, but this letter reminded me to use it boldly, even when I feel unsure. And Paul kept pointing back to Scripture—it is our foundation. With all the noise around us, that truth steadied me. His words about enduring hardship as a good soldier made me sit up straighter. Ministry is not always easy, but it is always worth it. Paul finished strong, and he showed me that I can too.
