You finish with Him.
Ending
Is Not the Same as Empty
When you come to the end of a long
journey—whether it is a year, a season, or even just a soul-deep struggle—there
can be a strange ache in the silence. A quiet space where the pace slows, and
you wonder, “Did I do enough? Did I change? Did it matter?”
Let me offer you this truth: Finishing
is not about perfection. It is about presence.
And the good news is, you did not finish alone. Jesus sustained you.
The
Thread That Held You
If you look back at this year of HolyGrit, you will see it—the consistent thread of Christ woven through every
up and down.
- When you felt unsteady, He was your anchor.
- When you were strong, He was your strength.
- When you were silent, He still spoke.
- When you were stretched, He gave you space to
breathe.
The reading plan may be ending, but resilience
in Christ never does.
Because He never stops carrying, covering, and calling you.
Every
Scripture Was a Stone Laid in Your Foundation
From Ready and Steadfast to JesusSustains Me, you built something this year:
- A rhythm of truth
- A lifestyle of hope
- A structure of grace that can weather any storm
You kept showing up. You kept opening
the Word. You kept reading when you did not feel inspired. You returned to the
plan after you drifted. That is resilience. That is faithfulness. That is
the shape of holy grit.
He
Was There the Whole Time
In Philippians 1:6 (CSB), Paul reminds
us,
“I am sure of this, that he who
started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of
Christ Jesus.”
You were not alone in January when you
tried to start strong.
You were not alone in July when your soul felt stretched thin.
And you are not alone now, in December, when it is time to release, rest, and
remember.
Jesus sustained you. That is the final
word.
Finishing
Is an Act of Worship
To finish something in a world full of
distractions is powerful.
To finish something with your faith intact is holy.
To finish with a heart still tender toward God? That is grace.
As you turn the last page of your
reading plan, do not just close it—consecrate it.
Offer it back to God with gratitude: not for what you did perfectly, but for
how He met you in it.
You
Finish With Him
This month’s theme is not a
suggestion. It is a truth:
Jesus Sustains Me.
He sustained you in weakness. He sustained your worship.
He sustained your hope when it flickered low.
And He will keep sustaining you into the next chapter.
So breathe deeply. Celebrate gently.
Reflect intentionally.
You are not at the end. You are in His hands.
Final
Word
You did not finish in your own
strength.
You finish in grace.
You finish in faith.
You finish with Him.
You do not break. You bend. You build.
