2 Thessalonians
reminded me that waiting well is a spiritual discipline. This letter had a more
serious tone, like Paul was trying to keep the church steady in the middle of
confusion and fear. What really stayed with me was how he reminded them that
God is just. That gave me peace. Sometimes I want to see justice right now—but
Paul reminded me that God sees, God knows, and God will handle it in His
perfect time. I also felt the urgency in Paul’s voice: do not be shaken. Do not
let fear or false teaching move you out of place. Stand firm. That encouraged
me to tighten my grip on what I know is true. Paul also reminded them that God
was still working in them. That was personal for me. Even when I feel weary or
unseen, God is doing something in me. This letter helped me breathe again, and
reminded me not to give up when the waiting gets long.
