Affirmations from the Book of 1 CORINTHIANS

"Called to Be Set Apart"

Key Thought: Living a life of spiritual maturity, love, and unity in the body of Christ.

1 Corinthians reminded me that holiness is not outdated. It is still the call. These affirmations challenged me to live different, to think different, and to love different. Paul was talking to a church that had gifts but needed growth—and honestly, that sounds a lot like me sometimes. I loved how the affirmations pointed back to the body of Christ. I have a place. My gifts matter. But those gifts do not mean much if they are not flowing through love. That hit me hard. I also saw how clearly Paul drew the line between living by the Spirit and letting the culture lead. These affirmations pushed me to check my motives, my habits, and my heart. Am I building others up? Am I walking in love? Am I running my race with purpose? This book helped me realign. It reminded me that spiritual maturity is not about knowing more—it is about living more like Jesus. And that takes courage, consistency, and a whole lot of grace.
