Because
Brokenness Does Not Mean You Are Beyond God’s Reach
We all have moments—sometimes long
seasons—where we feel cracked, bruised, and deeply worn down. The world calls
it failure. Religion sometimes calls it weakness. But God calls it a place
of rebuilding, healing, and sacred encounter.
If you feel broken right
now—spiritually, emotionally, or mentally—you need to know: God has not
changed His mind about you.
He still calls you chosen. Loved. Restorable. Redeemable. Valuable.
And His Word has something to say to
you, especially in the middle of your pain.
Brokenness
in the Bible Is Not the End—It Is the Beginning
God has always used broken things:
- A broken alabaster box to pour out worship (Luke 7:37–38)
- Broken loaves and fish to feed a multitude (Mark 6:41)
- Broken walls in Jerusalem to spark Nehemiah’s calling (Nehemiah 1:3–4)
- Broken people like David, Peter, and Paul to lead nations and build the Church
Your brokenness does not disqualify
you.
It prepares you.
What
God Says About You When You Feel Shattered
1.
You Are Not Forgotten.
“Can a mother forget the baby at her
breast? Though she may forget, I will not forget you.” — Isaiah 49:15
Even when others do not notice your pain, God does. His eyes are on you.
2.
You Are Seen, Even in Your Silence.
“You are the God who sees me.” — Genesis 16:13
Like Hagar in the wilderness, God finds you right where you are—not just
physically, but emotionally.
3.
You Are Loved, Not Because You Are Whole, But Because You Are His.
“I have loved you with an everlasting
love…” — Jeremiah 31:3
Nothing broken about you makes God love you less. He loves you as is.
4.
You Are Being Held Together.
“In Him all things hold together.” — Colossians 1:17
Even when you feel like everything is falling apart, Jesus is holding you in
place.
5.
You Are Not a Lost Cause—You Are in Process.
“Being confident of this… He who began
a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” — Philippians 1:6
God does not give up mid-repair. He is still working.
6.
You Are Still Useful in the Kingdom.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for
my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9
Your cracks are where His power shines through. You are still called, still
chosen, still powerful.
7.
You Are Safe in His Hands.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds
up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3
He is not rushing you to be better. He is binding you gently, piece by
piece.
8.
You Are a Living Story of Redemption.
“You intended to harm me, but God
intended it for good…” — Genesis 50:20
Your pain is not wasted. It is becoming a testimony that will help someone else
rise.
You
Are Not Your Brokenness
God does not identify you by your
breakdown.
He names you based on your design, not your damage.
“You are fearfully and wonderfully
made.” — Psalm 139:14
“You are God’s workmanship…” — Ephesians 2:10
“You are a chosen people… God’s special possession.” — 1 Peter 2:9
Your identity is not fragile. It is firm
in Christ.
If
You Are Doing the Holy Grit Plan…
- March – Standing Firm in Faith will remind you that even shaky faith is real
faith.
- July – Necessary and Nourished will guide you back to spiritual filling.
- December – Jesus Sustains Me will anchor you when you feel undone.
This reading plan was never about
perfection.
It is about staying close to the One who restores.
Final
Word: Broken, But Not Beyond God
You may feel cracked. Empty. In
pieces.
But the potter has not walked away.
He is still shaping you.
Still holding you.
Still calling you worthy—even while you are being rebuilt.
So let the tears fall. Let the
questions rise. Let the healing begin.
You are not finished. You are being
made new.
