I have adopted the phrase… GAME Time for my devotion. The Holy Spirit gave it to my husband when he
was speaking for a group of young adults at a church we used to attend. When he spoke of it, he was so excited about
it. From the moment of the engagement,
he’s used the phrase GAME Time when referring to his personal devotion time
with God.
GAME Time stands for GOD and ME Time.
I asked him how he came up with it, he said,
“It was placed in my spirit.
Since it was good, it came from the Lord.”
He further stated that he mulled the ACRONYM in his
head. After a while, he noticed it in a
Bible study book. That confirmed it for
him.
After a few years of hearing my hubby say it, I have slowly
adopted the acronym into my lexicon. I encourage you to adopt it, too.
