Key Thought: My character reflects Christ when I
live a life transformed by Him.
In
Colossians, Paul calls believers to take off the old self and put on the
new—clothed with Christlike virtues that reflect the heart of God. A
transformed Christian does not just believe differently; they behave
differently. Compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, forgiveness,
love, peace, and thankfulness are not just ideals—they are daily choices. These
traits are not produced by willpower but through surrender to the Spirit who
renews us.
