Fully Dressed for Battle
Key Thought: I am equipped to stand strong with
the full armor of God.
Paul
reminds believers in Ephesians to put on the whole armor of God, because the
Christian life is a spiritual battle. This armor is not physical—it is
spiritual, and it covers every area of our lives. Truth grounds us,
righteousness guards us, peace steadies us, faith shields us, salvation secures
us, and the Word empowers us. With prayer, perseverance, and God's strength, we
can stand firm no matter what comes against us. We are not defenseless—we are
fully equipped.
