Start With Intention: A Faith-Focused Morning Reset
Clothe yourself in spiritual clarity and righteousness. Get dressed to live boldly and wisely.
Read or
recite Ephesians 6:10–18 and step into the day equipped with truth,
righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God. You are dressed to
live intentionally and stand firm.
Reflection:
The world will not always make space for your calling—but you
can still walk into it covered in truth. Romans 13:12 tells us to put on the
armor of light, and Ephesians 6:10–18 shows us exactly how.
Getting dressed for the day is not just about clothes. It is
about being spiritually covered, mentally prepared, and emotionally guarded.
This armor is not decorative—it is protective.
It shields your focus, your joy, your discernment, and your
identity. And every piece is anchored in Christ.
Practice:
Before the day begins, read or speak Ephesians 6:10–18
aloud:
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his
might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand
against the schemes of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against
the rulers, against the authorities,
against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against
the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be
able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and
having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness
given by the gospel of peace.
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which
you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God,
praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication.
To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making

Then pause and say aloud:
“Today, I put on the full armor of God. I walk in truth,
righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, and the Word. I will stand strong, walk
wise, and live ready.”
Affirmation:
I am covered in light. I am equipped for the day. I am
protected, prepared, and spiritually dressed.
