Prayer:
Lord, we pray for peace—deep, lasting, undeniable peace to rest upon every
school, every student, every teacher, and every family connected to this school
year. Let peace govern our classrooms, hallways, faculty meetings, and parent
conversations.
Where
there is tension, bring resolution. Where there is fear, bring calm. Where
there is division, bring unity. We ask You to silence voices of anxiety and
raise up voices of encouragement, wisdom, and truth.
Let
homes be filled with peace as students prepare and return each day. Let staff
carry peace into their work and return home with peace in their hearts. And let
the atmosphere of every campus shift because Your peace—unshakable,
unexplainable—goes before and remains.
We
trust You, Lord, to guard our hearts and minds. May this be a peaceful year not
because everything is perfect, but because You are present.
Amen.
