Prayer:
Lord, today we lift up the parents who are guiding children through the highs
and lows of growth, learning, and maturity. Strengthen them with wisdom,
patience, and grace. Give them discernment as they make decisions about their
children’s education, friendships, and future. Let them feel Your presence in
the quiet moments—those car rides, hallway talks, and nighttime prayers.
Reassure them that You are parenting through them, even when they feel weary.
We
also pray for youth leaders and pastors—the shepherds and spiritual mentors
pouring into the next generation. Give them fresh anointing, creative energy,
and unwavering faith. Let their words carry weight. Let their example speak
louder than any message. Strengthen their commitment to truth, and protect
their personal lives from the toll of ministry.
Lord,
may parents and spiritual leaders work together—not in competition, but in
unity—for the flourishing of every child and teenager in their care. Let them
point young hearts to Jesus in every conversation, decision, and example.
Amen.
Go a Step Further:
If you are a parent, reach out to your child’s youth leader or pastor today
with a word of thanks. If you are not a parent, pray by name for one who is
raising children in this season. Consider blessing them with a small act of
encouragement.
